The lofty gilt-topped Hawkesbury Monument, a fine viewpoint, commemorates Lord Edward Somerset, who served at waterloo.
The church has a fine tower and carved 15th century pulpit and is noted for the clipped yew hedge, which almost encircles the churchyard.
