URPoint Details
The town has grown in a haphazard fashion but is a charming place with a beck running through it.
Hardrow Force is a waterfall cascading 100ft over a limestone ledge, and a footpath passes behind it.
The road to the north leads over Butter Tubs Pass, though not the largest Pennine Pothole is the closest to the road.
The wild road south leads high into Wensleydale past tiny cottages and waterfall of Gayle towards Langstrothdale and upper Wharfedale.
