The garden survives in part from the 18th century and surrounds the brick house and set in a park designed by Humphry Repton. The garden was altered in the Edwardian era by Lord Rendel and restored to incorporate Gertrude Jekyll's design for the south terrace and modification of the west front layout to reflect Repton's influence from surviving evidence.
