URPoint Details
East of the M1 between Toddington and Ampthill, Harlington has a Victorian Station house and railway connections between Bedford and London St Pancras.
Four winding roads converge near the Carpenters Arms, a picturesque timber and rendered wavy building like many seen in the village. Across the road at Harlington Manor in November 1660, John Bunyan was taken under arrest for field preaching in nearby Samsill.
Upper Samsell Farm is where John Bunyan was arrested in 1660.
