Hargate Hall is a fine and very substantial country house set in 5 acres of parkland situated right in the centre of the Peak District National Park, between Buxton and Bakewell in a totally rural setting. The luxury apartments are all equipped to a high standard, even the smallest has a complete limed oak kitchen area with everything from mixing bowl to microwave. All have satellite TV, hi-fi and video. The bigger ones have dishwashers and an extra TV in the bedrooms.
Many free facilities are available including mountain bikes, full size snooker table, a fantastic games room with everything imaginable from table tennis to ball pool.
Outside there is a super adventure playground, bats, balls, barbecues, croquet, cricket, football etc, There is a huge variety of walks, many right to the doorstep.
Ideal touring base for Chatsworth, Haddon Hall, Bolsover castle, Hardwick Hall, Peveril Castle and many other wonderful attractions that Derbyshire has to offer.
Not to be missed between May and September is 'Well Dressing' when the locals dress their wells, some in the most enchanting villages like Tissington, Ashbourne, Ashford and Eyam.
