URPoint Details
The 14th century church of St Mary the Virgin still has shrapnel from World War II embedded in the aisle, when it lost all its windows on the south side. The tower is over 100ft high and has a fine west window. The 15th century octagonal font stands on three steps and has lovely carvings.
