Hampstead

In the 18th century Hampstead was a village with a mineral spring, and there are some fine houses including those in Church Row. John Constable the painter is buried in the churchyard.
Keats Grove has many Regency houses and where the poet lived in Keats House between 1818 and 1820.
The oldest house is Fenton House a beautiful brick mansion dated 1693.
