The oldest building in Hamilton, a Georgian masterpiece designed by William Adam between 1732 and 1734, and the only church designed by him. The roof timbers are full of lead shot as Adam used timber from an old mar of war ship. There is some outstanding embroidery, and exceptionally detailed and engraved glass windows depicting the history of the church. There is a well preserved 11th century Netheron Cross and covenanting memorials.
