The Church of St Michael is a very impressive church originally Norman, and has a great West tower built in the 13th century.
On every third hour the clock chimes!
The rectors of the parish until 1771 provided two hare pies and two dozen penny loaves with ale to be scrambled for on Easter Monday. Since 1771 money is scrambled for instead.
