URPoint Details
A village on the banks of the River Thurso noted for its fishing. Across the river to the north is the ancient Brawl Castle with walls 8 to 10ft thick. Loch Calder to the west has many prehistoric remains and to the east are Loch Scarmelett and the larger Loch Watten noted for its trout fishing.
