Hailey - Church of St John the Evangelist

The Church of St John Evangelist was consecrated in 1869. The design of this church was influenced by the Medievalism and emphasis on symbolism of the Oxford Movement. It has been said that the exterior of the church was based on a Pyrenean chapel, which would explain the large expanse of roof designed for quantities of snow.

St John's is a Grade II* listed building
