URPoint Details
One of the beautiful bays in Wester Ross with its fine sand and picturesque outcrops of grey rock. The bay is approached from the west by descending the once notorious Gruniard Hill (1 in 6) and from the summit there are great views of the Teallanch range and the Coigach hills to the northeast. A little to the west of the summit are the curiously named clachans of Second Coast and First Coast. Two rivers the Little Gruinard and the Gruinard flow into the bay in which sits Gruinard Island
