The foundations of a fortified manor house held by Margaret Paston in 1450, as related in the ‘Paston Letters’ can still be seen.
The round-towered Decorated church has a fine Saxon Sacraments font.
To the southwest is the old and beautiful Barningham Hall built in 1612 by Sir William Paston.
