The Church of St Leonard, at the end of tho long village street, dates from the 13th century, has a Jacobean pulpit and quite a group of elaborate 18th century monuments.
The carved doorway is beautiful and the thick walls of the nave are of Norman origin.
The tower is 15th and in the stair turret is a 15th century door.
The three bells in the church were made by Robert Atton and Richard Chandler in the 17th century.
