URPoint Details
A small, picturesque and tranquil group of villages comprising Great Tew, Little Tew & Dun Tew.
Undoubtedly, one of England's prettiest villages with a cluster of thatched roofed, honey coloured stone cottages set in beautiful gardens in a tree-sheltered vale.
The Falkland Arms named after Lord Falkland who lived in the village in 1630, who opened his house to some famous writers, one being Ben Johnson.
On the village green at Great Tew stands the early 17th century stocks and some of the cottages nearby are of the same date.
