URPoint Details
The Priory Church of St Mary and St Michael founded by the Benedictine monks in 1085. This is a beautiful church with some of the 15th century tiles, choir stalls and magnificent glass. There are Norman arcades and a kiln was discovered locally in the 19th century maybe the tiles were made here.
