URPoint Details
This is the original settlement of Market Harborough.
Within its parish in the late 12th century, the daughter settlement of Market Harborough developed. Now it is noted for a series of village greens surrounded by rows of houses and cottages.
One green still retains the 19th century granite horse trough erected by the Metropolitan Drinking Fountain and Cattle Trough Association for the welfare of horses.
