Great Billington - Church of St Michael and All Angels

The lovely little St Michael and All Angels Church on top of the hill stands on an older site and is the centre of this little village. There was a chapel first mentioned here in 1277 and the west window arch is 13th century.

Situated on top of a hill the views across the countryside are magnificent and the village has been around since 1196 and still retains charm and some lovely cottages, farms and large houses.
