URPoint Details
Sir James Grant developed the town on the banks of the River Spey in 1776, it has wide streets, granite buildings and the Old Spey Bridge which dates back to 1750 all make this a lovely winter tourist place. Salmon and trout frequent the waters of the River Spey and the Dulnain tributary, and deer roam on the slopes of the Cairngorm Mountains.
