All rooms are accessible to wheelchair and buggy users, as is the toilet. The lift may be used to the first floor. A folding wheelchair is available for use by visitors. Ask any of the lovely staff for any assistance you may need. Disabled visitors may drive to the Museum entrance at the top of Gold Hill, but parking is not permitted on Gold Hill itself
A fascinating view of local history with some intriguing exhibits including a collection of Anglo-Saxon coins unearthed in 1941, a display of Dorset buttons and a wooden Fire Engine dating back to 1744.
