A museum of antiques, documents, and artefacts reflecting the history of Glen Esk and the surrounding area, with records, costumes, photographs and tools portray the daily life of a close-knit rural community.
The interpretive centre houses a large relief model of Glen Esk, a stable in original form and displays of past and present life.
