No dogs; allowed disabled parking 275m from entrance (local authority) with tarmac surface; reserved parking for disabled drivers by prior arrangement, disabled visitors may set down at entrance or park by the back gate in St John's car park. Access to Tribunal via available ramp at High St entrance; back entrance reached via paving stones and grass, and has 3 steps up and 4 steps down; ground floor of tribunal is accessible to wheelchair users; upper floor reached by spiral staircase benches and chairs provided. Museum/Lake Village Museum Exhibition on upper floor, not accessible to wheelchair users. Shop has easy access. A well preserved medieval town house, reputedly once used as the courthouse of Glastonbury Abbey and converted to a private dwelling after the Dissolution. The building houses the Tourist Information centre, and also the museum of Glastonbury Antiquarian Society.
