URPoint Details
The church dates back to the 14th century. Annually on 5th November bells were rung to celebrate Guy Fawkes Day. At harvest time the ‘gleaning’ bell was rung to signify that gleaners could enter the fields.
The ‘passing’ bell was also rung when someone died.
