Open April to October, daily 2-5pm. Admission charge; concession for disabled visitors; pavilion tearoom in main car park with two sets of steps to entrance. Famous open air theatre (June-August).

Orange badge holders may park directly in front of Hall during normal open hours (not marked); general car park some way away from Hall. Three steps into Hall; many steps throughout; level access to some parts of the garden; standard cubicles in toilets. Steeply racked platform seating, with very deep steps to upper rows, limited space within rows, four wheelchair spaces provided separately in side annex.

One of Cheshire's most attractive half-timbered 15th century Tudor house, is still very much a family home and believed to have been the home of Mary Fitton, the possible Dark Lady of Shakespeare's Sonnets.
