URPoint Details
Situated on the northern slopes of the Lammermuir Hills, with Clint’s Dod at 1,307ft is a good vantage point.
The church dates mainly from the 12th century and still has its 1633 sundial, ancient joungs attached to the west gable.
A narrow and hilly road threads its way southeast into the hills below Spartleton Edge and crosses ‘The Hungry Spout’ before descending into the valley of the Whiteadder Water in Berwickshire.
