The road splits the village green bordered by Georgian brick houses and on the left is Frampton Court home of the Clifford family. The green ends past the duck pond, and the thatched and gabled houses, and the Berkeley-Gloucester Canal.
The Church of St Mary has a pinnacled west tower, mainly Decorated and Perpendicular Gothic. The lead font is Norman, the pulpit dates from 1622. There are monuments with effigies of a knight and lady date from the 14th century. Grade I listed church
