URPoint Details
The village was re-positioned to its present site in 1798 due to Gordon Castle could be enlarged. Much of the ruins of the castle which stands to the north was once one of the largest buildings in Scotland.
Speymouth Forest stretches away to the east and some of the trees were planted by the Dukes of Gordon more than 200 years ago.
