The Mausoleum, situated within the 15th century ironstone Church of St John the Baptist, is rated amongst the best in the country. Chambers, monuments and effigies span 400 years of religious culture portraying the family history of the de Grey's of Wrest Park, Silsoe.
The small church stands on a bend in the road where in 1740 an impressive funeral procession for the Duke of Kent travelled from Wrest Park to the Mausoleum.
