Excavation site open April to October. Guided tours run hourly through the excavation site.
Throughout the year ancient breeds of livestock can be seen in the reconstructed Bronze Age Park. One of the few remaining excavation sites left in England, where the reconstruction of roundhouses, scale models and relics from the Bronze Age 1000BC, are on show in the Museum.
3,000 years ago the people constructed a huge timber platform (bigger than Wembley stadium), and a post alignment which runs for over a kilometre across the fens. Used for religious purposes for over 480 years, it has been preserved in the peaty mud and is the site of the earliest known wheel in Britain.
