Fishbourne Roman Palace and Gardens

This is the largest Roman building in Britain and the museum is full of Roman objects from excavations, gardens replanted to original plan, and a skeleton.

The remains of a palatial Roman building with many mosaic floors and in one room there are two layers of mosaic, apparently one floor had become damaged or maybe the occupants had grown tired of it.
