Lying four miles to the northeast of Wellingborough, possesses a number of interesting buildings, many older ones - including the splendid large church of local ironstone.
More recent additions to the village scape, during Victorian times, may be described as mock Gothic, including Finedon Hall a building of Elizabethan origins.
The old Bell Inn is one of the earliest in England.
The church has a tower with a spire rising to 133ft, the nave has an unusual carved strainer arch.
