Findon - West Sussex

Elegant 18^th century houses, mostly of flint and brick, and a 17^th century inn are grouped around the square situated on the east side of the Findon Valley.

The parish church dates from the 11^th and 12^th century and has an unusual nave and aisle spanned by a single roof, giving a sensation of space. There is a rare 13^th oak screen, and medieval oak pews showing the marks of the adze which shaped them.
