URPoint Details
The church with its riverside setting dates from the 13th century and is one of the most noble and ambitious churches in the county. The cathedral interior is wonderful as is the rare west front and fine interior and screen. The 15th century tithe barn stands nearby where 7,500 tiles were recorded in building accounts at Trinity College Cambridge. The church is a fine example of the Early English style and one of the best in the county.
