Once a Roman town, Exeter is now a beautiful city to visit with a magnificent cathedral dedicated to St Mary and St Peter and where the twin Norman towers dominate the skyline, narrow streets and with a five and a half mile long canal.
Although the cathedral is huge and imposing from some of the three storied shops and houses it is almost hidden.
