Ewell

An interesting little town with an some charming old houses, but it was at Nonsuch Park that Henry VIII intended to build the finest palace in all the land. It was never finished, and what was built has long disappeared, but the park remains open.

Watch House, was once the village lock-up and the castle is in private hands, the church although fairly modern built in 1847 has a very old churchyard.
