18th century garden attached to the house within wooded and landscaped park. The formal garden is divided into lawns. There are many old varieties of espaliered and fan-trained fruit trees, wall shrubs and climbers underplanted with old varieties of daffodils, narcissi and herbaceous plants. A central walk is lined with 'mock' orange tree boxes of Portuguese laurels and bordered by pleached lime trees leads to a central canal and 18th century gates.
The Victorian parterre and garden with shrub and climbing add to the glory of this parkland with extensive woods.
