Embsay & Bolton Abbey Steam Railway - Skipton

Cafe, gift shop and picnic area. In the heart of a Dales village, on the outskirts of the market town of Skipton this two and a half miles long friendly line railway transports visitors by vintage steam train to Holywell Holt. Over 20 locomotives plus historic rolling stock. The railway is particularly popular with families and stages many special children's events, including visits from ‘Thomas the Tank Engine’. Embsay Station, built in 1888, now houses the gift shop and cafe.
