The village, one of the most beautiful in England has a wide main street, bordered by a tree-lined brook down one side and has a fine mixed of architecture, the castle is no longer standing but the inn and church tell much of the history and footpaths from the village lead up to Bredon Hill.
The church of St Mary dates back to the 11th century and has some fine sculptures and has two 17th century stone sundials among the tombstones.
