The home of the Hervey-Bathurst's and their children, descendants of Earl Somers who built the castle in 1812. The sumptuous interiors display collections of armour, tapestries, old master paintings and Italian and Gothic furniture. Filming location for the BBC's 'Little Lord Fauntleroy'.
