URPoint Details
Once a peaceful rural village it is now bisected by the busy A47, along which traffic from the Midlands to Norwich and Great Yarmouth rushes along.
It is situated in rolling country between King’s Lynn and Swaffham.
The moated remains of the manor can be found on the south side of the village.
The church of All Saints stands on rising ground south of the winding main road, and is unusual in that it is a two-faced clock which is illuminated after dark. The church is mainly Perpendicular in style and is known for its graceful proportions.
