A lovely little town where trug baskets were made.
The church has a fine Perpendicular tower and on the Tudor doorway of which appears the Pelham ‘buckle’.
An interesting milestone on the A22 near East Hoathley, shows the Pelham Buckle, and the distance to London, ie ‘Bow Bells’
