URPoint Details
Of all the charming golden stone houses and cottages, the best of all is the long, low, thatched home of the great navigator William Dampier, who explored the west coast of Australia and was navigator of the ship that rescued Alexander Selkirk, the real Robinson Crusoe.
Coker Hall, built in the 15th century had the front and wings added some 300 years later.
