URPoint Details
The early Tudor manor house of warm brickwork was built by Sir Henry Fermor between 1520 and 1530 has a battlemented top, with magnificent chimneys and a superb two-storied gatehouse. The vertical buttresses and bands of ornament in moulded brick, the patterning of the windows and ten chimneys each one carved differently make this a fabulous piece of Tudor architecture.
