Eardisley Church of St Mary Magdalene is Norman but with later additions. The church contains a sculptural rarity of the early 12th Century of a cup-shaped carved font, showing men fighting with spear and sword, the Harrowing of Hell, a large lion and other figures, this was probably given by Robert de Baskerville, then Lord of the Manor.
