URPoint Details
The village is dominated by St Mary Magdalene’s Church, which has been standing for over 750 years. The tower (rebuilt in 1861) still stands tall over the surrounding countryside. A new roof for the chancel was partly paid for by the Earl Spencers.
The roof is supported by 12 angels each playing a musical instrument.
