Parking is available about 25m away, in the village. The church is surrounded by a graveyard, with cut grass. There are several low-lying and toppled gravestones. Nearest adapted toilet is about 7.5 miles away.
The parish church has a square Romanesque tower and tower arch. The rest of the church was rebuilt in 1810, but contains some of the original fabric.
There are some unusual headstone in the churchyard and one apparently the oldest in Scotland.
