A magnificent 12th and 13th century cathedral founded by David I in the mid 12th century, built on the site of the 6th century church of St Blane. After the Reformation it fell into disrepair, and has been completely restored. The interior is lovely and has some fine features including stone effigies of the old bishops, finely carved 'Bishop's Stalls' and a curious little wall chamber known as 'Katie Ogie's Hole'.
