A pretty village with a cluster of cottages some thatched and an interesting church.
The Perpendicular church and has an Early English chancel, interesting 15th century rood canopy and an even earlier pulpit. In the 19th century some pre-historic cremation urns were discovered, and can be seen in Reading and Southampton museums.
Nearby is Farleigh Hill where on a clear day you can see over four counties.
