URPoint Details
The Dumfries Show takes place in August each year and has show jumping, horse showing classes, home and garden arts and a dairy produce competition. Judging for dairy and beef cattle, sheep, including the Scottish Ryeland Group Show, and a grand parade of livestock is always delightful to watch.
Other entertainment includes the pony club championship, a parade of vintage machinery, the Sheep Show, Daffy Dill and Douglas the Clown, Annan Town Band and face painting.
