A village on the lower side of the double promontory of The Rhinns and from here the road leads to the Mull of Galloway at the tip.
It is said that seven kingdoms can be seen from here Scotland, England, Ireland, Wales, Isle of Man, Kyle (Ayrshire) and Heaven.
